Safetree works to improve the wellbeing, health and safety of people working in forestry.
Safetree works to improve the wellbeing, health and safety of people working in forestry. Our resources and activities are developed with input from forestry workers and businesses. They aim to lift capability, give workers a stronger voice, and support forestry leaders to create good working environments. Safetree is run by the Forest Industry Safety Council. FISC includes representatives of forest owners, forest managers, contractors, small-scale foresters, ACC, WorkSafe, unions and workers. Safetree is funded by the Forest Growers Levy Trust.
